DROWNING
Drowning usually occurs in very young kittens, usually in a water bowl that they are unable to climb to safety without help.
Drowning also occurs in young animals that fall into a deep pool of rainwater, backyard swimming pools, streams, or rivers.
Hold the cat or kitten up by the hind legs this will remove most of the water in their lungs.
Begin artificial respiration and CPR.
If the water is cold, then warming the cat in warm water or with blankets, or towels may help.
